Another bit of geekiness. The Rhedosaurus appeared in the 1953 sci-fi film 'The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms'. This actually appeared in G-Fan (Godzilla Fan) magazine and took in 3rd place in an international contest. Just regular pencil, ink and colored pencil. I don't touch colored pencils anymore.

I'm a huge Harryhausen fan, but let's be honest. Rhedosaurus would get creamed easy. Still, it's fitting that these two appear in a picture together since Beast from 20,000 Fathoms was one of the inspirations that led Tomoyuki Tanaka to make the Godzilla films.

I would love to see these two and kong in some kind of three way duel in a film. the three of them are connected in a way.

Godzilla vs. his own inspiration!

Imagine the Rhedosaurus having his own movie series! ;)

This is ironic since one of the inspirtations of Godzilla was The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms.

Rhedo's jealous of Godzilla's popularity.
